Creating safe and drug-free schools . . .
It's a national concern; it's something every school thinks about. How do schools address drug and violence prevention? What do educators need to know to keep their schools free of drugs and students free from harm so that they may have the best environment to learn and succeed? The Challenge is a bi-monthly newsletter produced by The American Council for Drug Education, underwritten by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Safe and Drug-Free Schools Program. The Challenge aims to provide educators with current information on youthful drug use and violent behaviors, implementing prevention programs in the schools, and current best practices being employed by other school districts. |
